food is something I have given much thought lately. You'd be able to scoff down as much delicious food as you wanted during your holodeck time, and then as soon as you walked out of the holodeck to a place with no holoemitters, your photonic binge would vanish. Gone. leaving only happy neural signals of the latest cake, or rack of cookies, or cheese souffles you had eaten. Diet of the future, no?
